Walking around Hotton
Numerous routes
In the woods and along the Ourthe
In and around Hotton
Walks from Holiday-Andina.
Walk along the most beautiful places in Hotton Cross the road through the cemetery and you are immediately in the forest. You can pass the Porte Aïve (cave) before walking back to the center. Descend to the valley of the l'isbelle. During the summer it is dry and you can just walk straight ahead, during the winter you have to cross the bridge. After the forest follows a small road (quiet) and then it goes to the park and arboretum of Hotton. There are picnic tables and a high watchtower. Via a (not so clean) spiral staircase you can stand at the top of the viewpoint, where you have a beautiful view over Hotton and Melreux. Back in the village, just cross the bridge, through the grassy plain between the fork of the Ourthe to the Fabermolen. Just one example of the beautiful walks from holiday home = andina.

Walking is a must in the Ardennes.
Some stiff slopes with a calf biter there and also stiff descents, a few climbs with rocks on and off but still doable, these are the walks in and around Hotton. Beautiful views of the ridges and nice places such as a rock tunnel 'Trou Fré Djame' and the cave 'Porte Aïve' where it is nice and fresh. Along the nature reserve 'Carriére de l'Alouette' and in the valley of the Isbelle. Hotton even has a beach along the Ourthe next to the church. Lots of forest and shade on most of the trails, so great in warm weather.
