Le Monde Sauvage in Aywaille, 25 km from Liège, is an animal park created in 1973. Today it has more than 1,000 animals, spread over 273 different species from the 5 continents. Along the 16 km of paths that cross the green area of 84 ha among the trees, you will enter the fascinating world of wild animals. The African safari, unique in Belgium, offers visitors the chance to experience a real safari in an area where the animals live in half freedom. With your own vehicle as well as with the safari train you enter a world of freedom, with large plains in which you pass a few meters (or less) from the wild animals. An unforgettable experience! However, Le Monde Sauvage is more than a fun safari. Stroll around and discover the aviaries, the Jungle Dome with its Mayan temple, the North American forest with its avenue of redwoods, the monkey and lemur island, the forest of the owls, the bird of prey center and many novelties.
