Spectacular walk
Along the only stream in Belgium
At 30 minutes from Hotton
Promenade along the only stream in the country.
It is one of the most popular hikes for the general public in the Belgian Ardennes: the Ninglinspo hike in Aywaille. There are several routes, but the "classic" loop takes visitors 6 km along the stream. The promenade was created at the beginning of the 20th century and has been very successful ever since. The track has been completely re-equipped with walkways and pontoons over the past three years. The goal is to secure and beautify the site, which is visited by nearly 500,000 visitors per year. Due to the many height differences, the path is sometimes difficult to follow. You should know that the stream "loses" 140 meters in height over a distance of just under 3 km, a slope that makes it the only "stream" in the country. Hikers can as well know this difficulty and get some rest. The walk starts between Remouchamps and Stoumont, in a village that bears the name Sedoz. The valley is on the list of sites classified as exceptional heritage in Wallonia.

De Ninglinspo
The Ninglinspo is a stream, the only stream that was given the name stream in Belgium, a tributary on the right bank of the Amblève, thus part of the Meuse watershed. It flows into the Amblève upstream from Remouchamps near Quarreux in the province of Liège
